I really do hate having a cold.  It's like you're not really that sick, but you don't feel like doing a lot of stuff and you're pretty gross to look at.  The red nose, the snot, watery eyes, overall just not a very pleasant look.  Start coughing for a while and your voice will start to sound like a 89 year old woman whose smoked 3 packs a day her whole life.  So at that point you look and sound horrible, it's just a bad deal.  Colds suck.

So naturally I haven't really ridden in about a week.  If I had a cold and it was warm, then there would have been a chance.  However it has been downright too stinkin' cold (by Alabama standards, well I guess 18 degrees is cold anywhere).  If I was still at Auburn I'd be riding my bike to class still.  I always preferred riding to walking.  I would bust out the toboggan and heavy gloves.  I'm too lazy right now to ride my bike in to work, which is a shame because I'm quite capable and it's not a bad ride.  I even could shower here.  Something about that cold morning air and getting up a half hour earlier is holding me back... Guess I need to man up.  But man... Those dang heated seats in the car tend to call my name.  I need someone to start busting my chops and tell me to man up and ride.  Is it weird to ride a bike to work if your job is selling cars?...

So on the fundraising front... up to $930!  Which is good, not great.  So if you're still holding back on your donation, feel free to use some of that income tax return you just received to help make a difference in the world.  Any size donation is appreciated, but come on, there's no need to hold back!  Anyway, seventy more bucks and I'm at the $1,000 milestone.  So I've got that going for me, which is nice.  (see following video if you don't get that last line)

And just because I love Caddyshack, here's one more

So it's Valentine's day??  How about that.  Happy Valentine's Day everybody.

Check out the sexiest bike I've seen in a while:

I have been a fan of Niner for a while, and they keep impressing me with the new products they are putting out.  They've been really going all out with all the RDO stuff that's been released lately.  So if anyone decides they want to make me a really happy boy, I'll take a medium in green with the full xtr build and color matched SID.  Thanks...

  1. Remind me to do this next weekend (after I get another paycheck). I've decided I'll give you a penny for every mile you're going to ride. Good call on the Caddyshack clips!
